Do you offer same day delivery?

Yes. Same day collection is typically available for order in before 1pm.
How do I order flowers?

There are many ways to orders flowers for delivery or pick up from Laura King Flowers. You can order online and book your delivery or collection date and time at the shopping cart. Or call me on 027 405 2100 to order and pay over the phone. You can order in studio if you want to pay in person.
When do you deliver flowers?

We deliver Monday to Friday and between 9.00am - 5pm. Deliveries can often be booked for weekends in advance if you call or text me on 027 405 2100.
Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to most North Canterbury areas and into Christchurch.

Standard delivery areas are booked by post code. for a full list go to Section 3 of our shipping policy.

Often farther out North Canterbury areas can be delivered to an acceptable collection point on a "next day" delivery call, text or email me to organize these on 027 405 2100 or laura@laurakingflowers.com.

Christchurch delivery's are usually "next day" delivery.

How much does shipping/Delivery cost?

Standard Delivery / Shipping is calculated at checkout based on receivers location and costs between $13 to $20.

For farther out locations or special requests we would quote you a price.
What happens if my recipient isn't home?

This is actually usually the case.

  • In most cases we can find a semi shaded area out of the wind that the recipient can see the flowers from. Often their doorway is shaded enough.
  • You could leave the recipients number for us in delivery instructions and we can call them.
  • We can call you to let you know where we have left the flowers for you to contact the recipient
  • In rare cases we can re-deliver but this may incur another delivery fee.
  • We could leave with a trusted neighbor if you require.
  • We can bring back to the studio for the recipient to collect.
Do you deliver flowers to hospitals

We can deliver to some hospitals and to some units in some hospitals depending on their policies.

  • St Georges, Southern Cross, and Forte Health accepts flowers
  • Christchurch Public & Christchurch Women's hospital doesn't permit flowers or live plants in their wards or other areas. Consider our range of foil balloons, soft toys and gifts instead.
Do you deliver to funeral homes?

Yes, let us know in advance the details of when the service is occurring and where. We will get your flowers there before the service starts. A family contact or funeral directors details can help. Call or Txt me on 027 405 2100 or email laura@laurakingflowers.com for details.
Will my flowers look exactly like the picture?

No

Flowers are unique and every bouquet and arrangement we make will be unique. your flowers will be close to the pictures and in the style and theme of the designs. Flowers may need to be substituted in order to use the freshest product in season or readily available to us at the time. This is what i call "florists choice". Again, the results will be a unique but similar design that is in theme with the description and pictured product.
Can I change or customise a flower design

Absolutely

There's lots of reasons to want something changed in a design or even have a completely custom flower design made up.

We can accommodate a lot of customization limited mainly by availability of flower stock.

Do you do flowers for weddings?

Yes. I mainly focus on smaller weddings these days offering, Bridal Bouquets, Bridal Party Bouquets, Boutonnieres (button holes), Floral Hair clips, Kids floral designs, Corsages, Flower Arches, and Table Setting Flowers.

I can be installing on the day or wedding party can pick flowers up from me on the morning of or day before wedding if they are doing it DIY.

What are your store hours?

I'm open Monday to Friday 9.30am till 5pm. I do head off during on deliveries during the day so best to call me to check I'm in. Otherwise I'm not generally too far away. 027 405 2100 laura@laurakingflowers.com
Where is your studio located?

My studio is at 24 Paget Drive, 7610 Woodend, North Canterbury.
Can i see the actual flower design I've ordered when its made.

Absolutely. Just let me know in the instructions and ill send you a photo of you flowers when I've made them and they're about to go out for delivery
