I like to create Xmas flowers, bouquets, arrangements, and gift packs that will work for most homes and families across Rangiora & North Canterbury. Here's a run down of my 2025 Xmas collection ready to order for collection & delivery Dec 18-24th.
In no particular order, here's my run down on Laura King Flowers 2025 Xmas Collection
Laura's choice - Small Xmas Box
I think this will be a popular one this year. I started the wider 'Laura's choice - Small Box Arrangements' to add a budget friendly option to my range. The style is reminiscent of my larger 'Low Box Arrangements' but at half the size and half the cost. Immediately the range became one of my top selling items so I suspect the Xmas themed version here will continue that.
You can see the classic Xmas colours in the flowers. I've added in a snowy style ribbon around the box to increase the Xmas theme while keeping a lighter look to the design. I'm using the Deep Red and White Pearl wrap which doubles as a waterproof lining for the arrangement. Classically, there are baubles and a berry pick. While they vary in size from one to another, approximately, this design is around 25cmwide and 25cm tall with the box itself being 10x10x10cm. This makes them great for table settings, low tables, or a beautiful little gift. Its selling this year for $45.
Little Xmas Pot
The Little Pot Arrangements have been popular all year. The little pot has a feeling of permanence being in a ceramic pot. Its style is usually 360 deg viewing but that has changed slightly for the Xmas model.
The Little Xmas Pot is still designed to be viewed 360 degrees however it now integrates a Xmas themed hessian style Bow which give it a front face.
The focal front facing flower is red giving the design a strong red Xmas theme. I played around with adding a white front facing flower rather than red but felt the white overpowered the arrangement so went back to a largely red Xmas arrangement with sprinkles of white for separation.
This design is good for the same areas as the Small Xmas Box however its more formal upright design gives it further application. Again I expect it will be popular alongside or as a one off gift for friends and family. It sells this year for $65.
Xmas Low Arrangement
This piece I'm particularly proud of. A prominent red rose, lower red focal gerbera against lilies waiting to pop. Thick white stock in the background offering height and texture change. Gold baubles and red decorative berry picks to enhance the Xmas vibe. I've used deep red pearl wrap for boldness but I've also chosen vilene as a softer option. Given the larger size of this arrangement (approx 40x30cm), the softer vilene makes for easier placement around other table objects. Finally it receives an integrated snowy white and red Xmas bow.
This is the ideal focal floral piece for Xmas and a substantial gift for friends and family. Its selling this year for $89.
Xmas Bouquet
A Christmas classic for gifting or displaying at home either as is, or in a vase.
2025's Xmas bouquet brings through lighter greens without pulling focus from the focal red roses and gerberas. White lilies come through the upper tier against a background of palm leaf. This bouquet is couched on red vilene for further Xmas theming and I've opted for a straight forward white pearl wrap with folded in sides. Finally I've used a red gingham style bow and golden baubles for more elegance. The base of the stems are wrapped in water filled cellophane ready to display or it can be removed to place in a vase.
Always popular for home or gifting; this years Xmas bouquet sells for $119.
Medium Xmas Gift Pack
The main Xmas pack this year will be this one. The flower arrangement is the Small Xmas Box which is displayed with some classic treats. I've gone for some comfort foods starting with a classic shortbread, 2 yummy Queen Anne chocolate fish, Griffins Toffee Pops and a 5 pack of Ferrero Rocher.
Its all presented sitting on top of a layer of wood wool and inside of a a tidy black cardboard tray. I've opted not to cellophane wrap this gift pack instead running red gingham ribbon across the center making a bold contrast to the black tray.
Given the flowers and food choices, this gift pack will make a wide range of recipients happy and is selling for $69.
Small Xmas Gift Packs - Two Styles
I wanted to make a gift pack that was great value for money, a quality product, and was affordable. I came up with two different styles of Small Xmas Gift Packs. Both Gift packs have a petite Xmas arrangement. This is a unique arrangement I've designed to fit gift packs.
The petite arrangement is literally petite. Its smaller than the Small Box Arrangements but still full of life. While Petite Arrangements are a new design the initial feed back is how sweet and cute people find them. This makes them a perfect addition for smaller thoughtful gift packs.
The Standard Small Xmas Gift Pack includes seasonally popular shortbread and a 5 Pack of Ferrero Rocher but then I made a sweeter pack which substitutes the shortbread for 2 x Queen Anne chocolate fish... because they are yum.
Again I've opted not to cellophane wrap this design. I tried it and decided they looked better unwrapped with the classy red gingham ribbon across the center.
It will be interesting which one is more popular at $45 each.
Big Xmas Hamper
This family size Xmas hamper is the largest gift pack I have this year. It starts with the Small Xmas Box flower arrangement nestled in the front left corner and then explodes with classic comfort food (have a look at the product page for details).
It's presented on top of a layer of wood wool and in a 50cm wide woven basket. I decided to cellophane wrap this hamper, mainly to stop food falling out, and finished it with two Xmas themed foil balloons and the hessian style bow.
This is a great treat for a loved family for $119.
Xmas Themed Plants
Maybe you want to gift a living plant. I've made up our orchids in a kete with white vilene, Xmas bow, and decorative berry pick. They're ready for gifting as there is a protective cellophane lining around the orchid pot so it can be watered without damaging the kete. These are a great little gift for $55
Or the same thing with our peace Lilies for $39
I also have a Limited number of the popular potted & wrapped Mini Living Xmas Trees. They're grown outdoors but live fine indoors for a couple of weeks over Xmas. If you want to keep them for re-use, they need to go outside again and the care instructions followed to condition them for the next year.
Concluding Thoughts
Give or take a few small items that's my collection for 2025. Orders are open now and so are bookings for delivery and collection.
The biggest limitation is delivery slots so if you want delivery its best to get in early to avoid missing out on a day.
